SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - May 17, 2011) - California, the state that boasts more passports per capita than any other state in the U.S., has launched a broadcast television venture through NBC offer non-stop programming to viewers in San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego.

California NonStop, a unique round-the-clock local and regional news, information and lifestyle channel, can now be seen on the respective NBC station digital channels: LA/4.2, SAN FRANCISCO/11.2, and SAN DIEGO/9.2.

The shows and segments focus on news, information, entertainment and lifestyle programming of interest to those living in these lively and dense television markets and to California as a whole. Programming for California Nonstop will feature a mix of shows produced specifically for the channel by the three California stations, along with programs produced by NBC Local Media.
