SANTA BARBARA, CA--(Marketwired - Apr 11, 2014) - In April, Wimbledon is returning to India to stage a tournament for young tennis talents. India was host to the first ever Wimbledon event outside of London last fall per the initiative called "The Road to Wimbledon in India", which was organized by the Wimbledon Foundation and the Wimbledon Championships. The goal of the project is to support young tennis players in India. In January of this year, the Wimbledon Foundation in cooperation with the All India Tennis Association organized two tennis events for boys and girls of 14 years and younger in Mumbai and Delhi during which the young tennis players had a chance to qualify for the Junior Masters tournament which will take place in the RK Khanna Centre in Delhi this month. The finalists of the tournament will be welcomed in August to the National Finals held at the original Wimbledon court in London.
