NORFOLK, NE--(Marketwired - May 23, 2014) - Supertel Hospitality, Inc. (NASDAQ: SPPR), a real estate investment trust (REIT), today announced additional information on its previously announced rights offering. Supertel will voluntarily delist the subscription rights, currently listed on the NASDAQ Stock Market LLC under the symbol "SPPRR", on June 5, 2014 in order to allow any trades in the rights to settle and purchasers of rights to exercise their subscription rights prior to the expiration of the subscription rights offering on June 6, 2014. Because the subscription rights will cease trading on the NASDAQ Stock Market on June 5, 2014, the rights will not trade on the NASDAQ during any extension period, if any. This action will have no effect on the listing of Supertel's common stock which trades on the NASDAQ Stock Market under the symbol "SPPR".
