WhereDaily News: Research Funded by Diamond Resorts International(R) Reveals the Benefits of Regular Vacations
LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwired - Nov 5, 2014) - According to a recent study conducted by Nielsen*, people who take regular vacations are considerably happier and feel healthier than those who tend to skip their holidays. The online survey was commissioned by Diamond Resorts International® (DRII) and included more than 2000 respondents aged 25 and older with an annual household income of at least $35K. The "Vacation Integration Towards an All-inclusive Lifestyle" (VITAL) survey* compared happiness, health, vitality, relationships and job satisfaction of two groups of survey participants -- those who vacation at least once a year and those who never go on vacations. While the study included a broad variety of factors and questions, the general conclusion was obvious: regular vacations are not simply a pleasant luxury, they have a significant impact on our well-being.
