DOYLESTOWN, PA--(Marketwired - Nov 13, 2014) - ProPhase Labs, Inc. (NASDAQ: PRPH) (www.ProPhaseLabs.com) today reported its net sales were $5.1 million for the three months ended September 30, 2014 as compared to net sales of $5.9 for the three months ended September 30, 2013. During the three months ended September 30, 2014, the Company recorded a $3.6 million non-cash charge to operations ("Impairment Charge") for the impairment of its intangible asset, licensed technology related to its Phusion Labs joint venture. The Company realized a net loss, inclusive of the Impairment Charge, for the three months ended September 30, 2014, of $3.2 million, or ($0.18) per share, compared to net income of $1.2 million, or $0.08 per share, for the three months ended September 30, 2013.
