(NASDAQ: SPPR), a hotel focused real estate investment trust (REIT), announced that due to turbulence in the stock markets, it will postpone its special meeting of shareholders from September 3, 2015 to October 8, 2015, at 10:00 a.m., central time, at the Hilton Omaha, 1001 Cass Street, Omaha, Nebraska. Only holders of common stock, 10% Series B Cumulative Preferred Stock and 6.25% Series C Cumulative Convertible Preferred Stock of the company of record as of the close of business on July 31, 2015 will be entitled to notice of and to vote at the special meeting and any postponements or adjournments thereof.
