The Forbes Five-Star, AAA Five Diamond Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa launched in early 2014. Sitting on seven oceanfront acres, the Eau Palm took over the former site of the Ritz-Carlton Palm Beach, redesigning guest rooms with Jonathan Adler’s bright décor. A member of Preferred Hotels & Resorts Legend Collection, you’ll want to consider this property as a great spot for a gal pal getaways for these five reasons:

Eau Spa

The 42,000 square foot spa is where most girls will want to spend their getaway. A Forbes Five-Star spa, it not only offers a long list of pampering treatments but plenty of places to simply relax and unplug. The indulgence begins with a wish on a floating candle that is set adrift on the welcome pool upon entering the spa and is followed by champagne and cupcakes in the Relaxation Lounge. The Self-Centered Garden offers plenty of outdoor areas to simply do nothing, with sitting on the swinging chairs that hang over the reflecting pool and waterfall as an especially playful way to spend time with girlfriends.

Adults-Only Pool and Access to Beach

One of Eau Spa’s two outdoor pools is designated adults-only and provides for a relaxing and quiet respite. Girls can splurge on an Oceanfront Cabana, which features seating for up to six, flat screen TVs, and curtains for privacy. It comes with a Cabana Host who can make sure that the food and beverage keeps coming and can handle any other requests. A stairway from the adults-only pool leads to the resort’s white sand beach for those who prefer lazy days in the sand.

Dining

The resort’s four food and beverage venues provide plenty of choice from casual to fine dining during a girls’ getaway stay. The most fun is Breeze Ocean Kitchen, which recently opened in February 2016. The outdoor seafront location is a lively spot for cocktails and light bites. Three meals are offered at Temple Orange Mediterranean Bistro with a choice of indoor and outdoor dining on delicious combinations of Mediterranean and American cuisine. The Mediterranean-style breakfast buffet is offers over-the-top amounts of choice and food for a special way to start the day. Angle is the hotel’s fine dining restaurant featuring contemporary American cuisine with seasonal specialties. The lobby’s Stir Bar and Terrace serves craft cocktails inside and out and includes a “lobby turndown” when lights are dimmed, white candles are lit and guests receive chilled champagne. Live musical entertainment is also available on select nights.

Club Level

A girls getaway is the ideal time for an upgrade to Club Level, where complimentary food and beverage servings in the private Club lounge include breakfast, lunch, appetizers and cocktail hour, and dessert. A private concierge is also available to handle all requests and needs. Club Level rooms include such perks as daily pressing and VIP pool service.

15 minutes from Palm Beach International

Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) is only located eight miles or 15 minutes from the resort, making it easy to be on the beach in no time.

Starting rate for next season is $599/night + tax. Rates and packages available Jan. 1 to April 30, 2017.
