Christmas at The Draycott in London: Bear Included

Christmas in London is idyllic enough but with the opening of the highly-anticipated children’s movie Paddington, based on the Paddington Bear, it will be a special hit this year with families.

The Draycott Hotel will be complementing this release with special Paddington Packages that will allow guests to see London through Paddington’s eyes, with a Paddington Bear of their own, an official Paddington Bear guidebook and a hop-on, hop-off tour to the many Paddington Trail statues throughout the city, all in city landmarks, parks and museums.

Once tuckered out from seeing the city, families will return to their spacious family suite at the Draycott for signature Draycott tea service — with a miniature tea for the children accompanied by snacks and, of course, Paddington’s favorite: marmalade.

Rates: Family suites from $1,150 per night inclusive of Vat. Draycott suites from $1,710 per night per room inclusive of Vat.

LATOUR, part of The Isramworld Portfolio and expert in travel to Latin America, is offering a rich taste of Cuba through a new series of seamless and legal people-to-people tours. Starting with its “Hello Cuba” departures in November, Americans can journey to Cuba’s once forbidden shores for an authentic, firsthand look at the country’s people, landscapes and culture.

The eight-night tour is designed for travelers with a real zest for learning and exploration. “Hello Cuba” kicks off in Havana, with glimpses of daily Cuban life via through Old Havana and touching exchanges with local talent at the Experimental Graphic Arts Workshop and Havana Compras Dance company.

The tour heads to Cienfuegos for a two-night stay and one-on-one meetings with local artists and politicos. A day trip is taken to Trinidad, one of Cuba’s best-preserved colonial towns and the heart of Cuba’s cigar industry, before heading back to Havana, where travelers visit a variety of iconic spots, including Ernest Hemingway’s winter home containing his personal 9,000 volume library. And there will be additional trips in and around Havana to community projects and art workshops.

Rates: $4,499 per person double occupancy and including roundtrip air between Miami and Cuba, plus all meals, as outlined, and hotels (including a stay at Miami International Airport hotel), plus all ground transportation and airport transfers and programs.

Cuban Visa, Cuban health insurance, all tips at restaurants and organizations, porterage at hotels (one checked suitcase), hotel service charges and taxes are also included.
